About MMBH
The Montreal Muslim Ball Hockey (MMBH) tournament is the oldest and longest running organized Muslim sporting event of its kind in Canada. Starting from its relatively humble beginnings in September 1992, the event now regularly attracts hundreds of participants from across Quebec, Ontario and the rest of Canada, as well as parts of the U.S. and elsewhere. Run by volunteers, the event is hosted in the hockey capital of the world, Montreal, and focuses on good sportsmanship, competition and charity, by giving back to the needy both locally and abroad. MMBH has been recognized by some Members of Canada's Parliament among others for its positive role in the community.
